Changes to Management

Date: May 13, 2002

At its May 13 special meeting, the Board of Directors of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation approved of the company nominees for election as Statutory Auditor and the changes to the Board members as set forth below.
The election of new Statutory Auditor is to be decided at the Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be held on June 25.
An approval of the Board of Statutory Auditors has been already obtained for the company nominees for election as Statutory Auditor in accordance with the Commercial Code.

At its May 13 special meeting, the Board of Directors of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation approved the candidates of the Senior Executive Officers and Executive Officers as listed below, effective June 25.

The changes will be formalized at the Special Meeting of the Board of Directors immediately after the Annual Meeting of Shareholders on June 25.
