Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announces that orders for the new eK-WAGON minicar counted 21,410 units as of Monday 29, October just 18 days after it went on sale in
showrooms around Japan on 11 October. This figure represents twice the 10,000 unit monthly sales target for the first six months set by the company.

- Developed and built around a "Just Right Value Wagon" concept, eK-WAGON features packaging that facilitates passenger entry and egress while permitting access to
the tower parking common in Japan, together with a clean and standard design. Interior features include a new-look center instrument panel and generous small-item
stowage space. eK-WAGON offers class-topping crash-worthiness together with fun-to-drive handling, performance and maneuverability. This new concept minicar is also
very wallet-friendly, with prices starting at 910,000 yen.
