Brand-new eK-WAGON order top 13,000 in first 4 days after launch Way over 10,000 monthly target

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announces that the new "semi-tall" eK-WAGON minicar has made a highly encouraging debut, with orders topping 13,000 units as of Sunday 14 October - just 4 days it went on sale in showrooms around Japan on 11 October - and substantially exceeding the 10,000 unit monthly target the company was aiming for.

Details relating to orders taken after the eK-WAGON Debut Fair held 13 and 14 October at Mitsubishi dealerships throughout Japan are given below.

110,000. the same number as those attended Debut Fair held for New Standard Minica series launched in October 1998
