Sales of New DION tops 5,500 in two weeks

Topping the monthly target of 4,500

16 February 2000, Tokyo: Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announces that sales of its new DION(1) wagon passed the 5,500 mark on 15 February just two weeks after its Japanese market launch on 29 January - easily breaking the monthly target of 4,500.

Developed to "Smart Design" and "Ecology Conscious" themes, DION offers outstanding value-for-money with the following features:

  1. Class(2)-topping space and roominess within compact user-friendly body dimensions;
